For citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan: admission to training on a paid basis and under a state grant is based on the application of citizens in accordance with the certificate issued by the results of the Unified National Testing (hereinafter — UNT), conducted using technologies developed by the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For foreign citizens: Admission of foreign citizens for studying at higher educational institutions on a fee paying basis is carried out in the form of interviewing or taking an admission test, conducted by the University admission committee. At the same time, foreign citizens who have graduated from educational institutions on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan or beyond enter to the university on a fee-paying training on the basis of an interview or an entrance exam.

A state grant is a state educational order for the training of specialists with higher education in educational institutions funded from the republican budget.

An applicant has the right to choose a university and an educational program in accordance with the rules for placing a state educational order.

To participate in the competition, applicants based on the results of the June-July UNT must score at least 50 points, including at least 5 points - for the history of Kazakhstan, mathematical literacy, reading literacy (language of instruction) and at least 5 points for each profile subject.
