25 september, 2019, The annual competition among freshman students of “Teambuilding-2019”. Students of Department of General Construction distinguished themselves by a large number of participants among other faculties. They proved to be a friendly, resourceful and cohesive team. Teambuilding gave the children an opportunity to make friends not only in their faculty, but also in the entire academy. The DGC team took 3rd place in the overall score.
On October 26, 2019, city football competitions were held, organized by Akimat of Bostandyk district of Almaty. The team of KazLAACE consisting of the majority of students of DGC, and also headed by our student Maimakov Serik, took the 1st prize.
October 30, 2019 was the very first game of our KVN team "KazGASA", the captain of which is a student of DGC Kenenov Yernur. The game was held in DK Kaskelen, total 17 teams were participated. Our team passed the 1/8 stage of the final game, which will be held on 10.12.2019. Also, "KazGASA" were awarded "The Best Team of this season".
On October 31, 2019, the Annual event dedicated to the freshmen "Dedication to students-2019" was held. The student activity of the faculty organized a musical performance on a given theme. The freshmen of our faculty distinguished themselves with an interesting script and bright choreography.
On November 22, 2019, DGC students and teachers presented their common models of lamps to the Festival, held under the slogan "Generation Z". The contest of lamps was held under the slogan "we light the stars". The purpose of the festival was to place the lamps in the premises of the Youth community center by revealing the creative and scientific potential of students.
KazLAACE on the eve of its 40th anniversary and the Year of Volunteer in Kazakhstan made a gift to its students. Guidance of Academy put at the disposal for students of a large building with a total area of 500 square meters. Now Student Youth Committee and Student Union Committee can use this room at their discretion. Various social and cultural events will be organized here, such as: KVN, Miss KazGASA, Miss KAU, Talents of Freshmen, etc. Students will be able to lease. On February 19, 2020, a casting for the large-scale beauty contest “Miss KazGASA-2020” was held in the building of the Student Union. March 6, 2020 was a concert show program dedicated to the holiday of spring, beauty, magnificence - Women's Day. The guys of our academy did a great job and prepared dances, songs about women, contests for girls, all this fun continued with a hot disco. The organizer of the event is the Student Youth Committee, which includes the student dean of our faculty Ryskalieva Kuralay and activist Omarova Moldir. Our following students performed the dance at the concert: Aitbek Adilzhan, Nurgaliev Meiram, Amangaliev Bekzat, Khairushev Berkhayyr.
