Control of educational achievements of KazGASA students is divided into current control, midterm control and final control, which is carried out during the interim certification (examination session (Final)).

 

Students at the beginning of each semester are certified to determine the level of readiness for the study of the course of discipline-the input cross-section of knowledge - in the period set by the Academic calendar.

 

For students of distance learning, the boundary control is carried out at the end of the theoretical course of studying the discipline once.

 

Forms of the exam: computer testing, written exam (Clause), oral exam, combined exam (testing and oral form for language disciplines). A transcript is formed for each student, which reflects the list of disciplines by semester (fall, spring), indicating the credits and final grade for the discipline, as well as the GPA (average passing score). Students can find out the final results for the discipline on the next day after the exam by viewing their transcript in their personal account on the site, as well as the results of rating controls with comments from teachers.

 

Students are given the opportunity to choose the language of the exam (Kazakh, Russian, English).

 

The application for appeal exam grade is submitted personally to the Registrar in the following deadlines:

 

• computer testing, oral or combined examination - on the day of the exam;
• written examination – within three days following the examination.

The appeal is carried out by the faculty's appeal Committee in oral form strictly according to the examination ticket or computer testing option.

 

To transfer to the next course (year of study), it is not enough to pass the session for positive assessments - the IEC sets the average passing GPA for transfer to the next course (year of study). Students who have insufficient GPA to transfer to the next course are granted the right to repeat the courses on a paid basis in the summer semester (after the examination session on practice during the vacation period). The exam deadline is the last week of the summer semester.

 

To retake the exam, the student in the next academic period or in the summer semester again attends all types of training sessions provided for in the working curriculum for this discipline, receives ratings and passes the final control.

 

It is not allowed to retake a positive assessment on the final control in order to increase it during the same period of intermediate certification.

 

Retake the exam in the same subject more than twice is not allowed.
