Bolashak International Scholarship was established on November 5, 1993 by the Decree of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev.

At the dawn of independence, the Republic of Kazakhstan needed highly-qualified professionals capable to conduct further reforms and worthily represent the country at the international arena.

Any citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan can applying for:

• obtaining a master's and doctor degree;

• residency training;

• internships.

Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK. Whilst there is no ‘typical’ Chevening Scholar, we are looking for the kind of people who have the passion, ideas, and influence to provide the solutions and leadership needed to create a better future.

Because these scholarships are fully-funded (flights, accommodation, and course fees are all included), you are free to focus on achieving your professional goals and maximising the experience of a lifetime.

You will live and study in the UK for a year, during which time you will develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with the UK.

On completing your studies, you will leave the UK equipped with the knowledge and networks necessary to bring your own ideas to life.

DAAD (German Academic Exchange Center)  is the largest organization in the world that unites German higher education institutions and assists in the international academic exchange of students and scientists.

DAAD organizes and finances the academic exchange of students and scientists, informs about the possibilities of studying and conducting research in Germany and also helps to increase the internationality and prestige of German universities. DAAD offers Kazakhstani students, young scientists and specialists, teachers and scientists more than 20 scholarship programs available in both German and English.

The J. William Fulbright program, established in 1946, was created to promote mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries of the world. Today, the Fulbright program is one of the most widely recognized and prestigious international exchange programs in the world.  Hundreds of Fulbright alumni worldwide currently hold top positions in government, higher education, journalism, and the private sector. 


Fulbright grants are awarded through open and merit-based competition.  This ensures the most qualified applicants are fairly chosen in a way that contributes to the main goal of the program, to promote mutual understanding and benefit through contributions to both host and home communities.
