The history of the movement of student groups has more than a decade and has a lot of great traditions. However, the political, economic and social changes in the life of our country in the past years have led to a decline in movement.
Our academy is the most advanced in the field of construction and architecture, only we can revive Students construction teams (SCT). Student construction teams were based on the best traditions of students of 50s. The development of virgin lands in Kazakhstan, Siberia and the Far East, the Komsomol construction sites, BAM - this is not a complete list of the glorious deeds of the movement.
In recent years, witnessed the revival and development of the SCT - to create new units, geography trips, emerging new tradition. In the new environment, thanks to the enthusiasm of the initiative group, the tradition of the annual gatherings of student construction teams appeared. Every year, no matter how many in the SCT other universities are going to solve the problem and prevent the movement of student construction teams. Currently, representatives of KLAACE came in tight to the question of the further development of the SCT.
In 2000, in Kazakhstan due to the initiative of KLAACE and Akimat of Bostandyk district of Almaty the tradition of student construction teams was revived (SCT). Over the years SCT were working hardened more than a thousand students, about 500 of them received certificates of highly skilled workers through vacational school at the academy.

In KLAACE position on SCT the main points are highlighted that pose the idea of an SCT and produce the basic requirements to create normal working conditions for SCT members.

• Free provision of clothing;
• Free accommodation in a hostel;
• guaranteed salary;
• Free medical care;
• Free attendance of lessons for participants working year-round.
The results of KLAACE SCT work
Taken from the very beginning the Academy leadership practice of supporting of movement of student's building groups (emphasis at the expense of funds of the Academy of clothing, food, accommodation, leisure activities, award) has given good results: the majority of construction works and plans made by the students who have the skills to earn money, to contribute to the development of the Academy.
