One of the indicators of the effectiveness of scientific activity is the level and quality of publications, their citation in international and national scientific databases.

In the first half of the 2019-2020 academic year, university scientists published 98 works. Of these, 4 patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 18 scientific papers in high-ranking publications indexed in the databases Web of Science, Scopus, etc.

Since August 14, 2000, the scientific journal “Vestnik KazGASA” has been published (certificate No. 1438-Ж), by order of the Chairman of the Committee for Control in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 10, 2012 No. 1082 was included in the list of scientific publications recommended by KKSON to publish the main results of scientific activity.

In 2019, 9 foreign scientists were included in the editorial board, including 2 from Poland - Uyma A., Kuts S., 2 from Russia - Vatin N.I., Shubin I.L., 1 from Belarus - Golubev N.M ., 1 from Azerbaijan - Salamzade E.A., 2 from Kyrgyzstan - Begaliev U.T., Muksinov R.M., 1 from Uzbekistan - Yusupova M.A.
