Research work
The main areas of research at the faculty are:
- modern methodology of architectural design;
- Features of the implementation of projects taking into account regulatory and technical standards,
practical tasks and real conditions of the architect;
- scientific and practical aspects of technologies for the implementation and management of architectural and construction projects;
- architectural design as part of social, entrepreneurial, urban planning and investment activities;
- study of the latest engineering technologies for the design and construction of architecture of residential and public buildings, based on sustainable resource-saving and energy-efficient technologies and materials.
- Features of the organization and implementation of traditional and modern technologies (BIM), and creative techniques in architectural design: 3D visualization and information modeling parametric modeling
- research on the theory and history of architecture;
- Identity problems in the art and architecture of Kazakhstan during the independence period;
- Regional features of the architecture of Kazakhstan;
- The latest techniques for the reconstruction of buildings and structures;
- The latest techniques for the restoration of monuments of architectural heritage, etc.
At the Faculty of Architecture, the research project “The Art of Sovereign Kazakhstan in the Context of National Identity” is being carried out within the framework of grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (supervisor - Doctor of Art History Galimzhanova AS, employees - Dr. arch. Glaudinova MB, Ph.D. of Art History Truspekova Kh.Kh.). According to the SRW Schedule, employees took part in international conferences in Russia, Germany, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and other countries; business trips to the cities of Western, Southern and Central Kazakhstan (Atyrau, Aktau, Aktobe, Kyzylorda, Taraz, Shymkent, Nur-Sultan); 4 articles published in international journals with non-zero impact factor.
