The Republican review competition of graduate qualification works is held among graduates of universities that graduated this year.
The competition is held in the following nominations:
- Urban Planning
- Architecture of Residential and Public Buildings
- Landscape Architecture
- Reconstruction and Restoration
The competition is held annually in the fall semester at the Kazakh leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering. The official languages of the competition are Kazakh, Russian and English.
To assess graduation work a public reference is created, which includes reputable experts from creative unions and architectural design companies, leading practitioners.
The International graduation review contest is a competition organized by Kazakh leading academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering in the framework of the International Festival of Architectural, Civil Engineering and Design Schools of Eurasia, in which university students from participating countries take part. The international review competition shares the best works of graduates, demonstrating their school, and is also aimed at establishing contacts and strengthening cooperation between universities in Eurasia.
In 2019, the IX International Festival of Architectural, Civil Engineering and Design Schools of Eurasia was held in Uzbekistan in the cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara at the bases of the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction, Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and Bukhara State Technical University.
In 2019, 221 graduation qualification works from 8 universities of Kazakhstan and 41 universities of countries such as the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, South Korea, Israel, Moldova, Romania, Hungary took part in the competition.
In 2019, the International Graduation Contest in the framework of the International Festival of Architectural, Civil Engineering and Design Schools of Eurasia was held in the following categories:
- Urban Planning
- Landscape Architecture
- Residential Building Architecture
- Architecture of Public Buildings
- Reconstruction and Restoration
- Master Degree
The winners of the competition who took first, second and third places in their nominations are awarded with diplomas. Following the results of the festival, the organizers publish a catalog of the International festival in which the projects of the contest nominees are published.
