As one of the leading universities in Kazakhstan in the field of architecture and construction education, the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (KazGASA) always strives to expand its international relations, as well as to promote talents and create a platform for the exchange of modern and relevant ideas. To achieve this goal, on the initiative of KazGASA, since 2009, the International Festival of Architecture, Construction and Design Schools of Eurasia has been held annually. The festival has proved to be an ideal basis for demonstrating the best graduate works of students and undergraduates of our continent and an open, dynamic platform for exchanging experience and ideas for further development in this field, promoting their research projects and concluding cooperation agreements.

The international Festival was held in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Russia, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan (based on KazGASA campus). During the years of the International festival, 121 countries of Eurasia with a total of 416 universities participated in the fesitval, and more than 3,257 projects were presented at the review competitions of graduate projects .
